The job of a filter is to strain away the impurities that get deposited as time passes. When used excessively, filters may get congested to a point when they require replacement. The replacement of filters should never be neglected and people should be aware of the importance of changing filters. Dirty or clogged oil filters allow contaminants to sail straight to your engine where they can cause damage as well as affect fuel economy .That is the reason why we replace oil filter. We change the air filter for better performance of vehicle and to save fuel.
