ByPhilipp Meister-May 11, 2020

Almost every movie includes some cars to show off, but there are very few movies that captivate the audience because of the cars especially. Here are some of the movies that got the attention because of the super fabulous cars they introduced. Let’s have the most memorable cars from movies in all these years-

Most Memorable Cars from Movies: From Fast & Furious to Death Proof

Some movies have a particular brand that they play contract with. In this case, all the cars in the scene come from the same manufacturer where all other cars except the hero’s remain as clone cars.

Fast & Furious – Supra

Well, who can forget this evergreen movie and its legacy for the cars’ stunts? They later give that bright orange sporty car Paul Walker. The selling price of this creation was $185,000 at the auction. They destroyed the Mitsubishi Eclipse in the first film. It was the craze of the fans after the electric lime green after which they take that decision.

Supra was built by Eddie Paul at The Shark Shop in El Segundo, California. One of the most memorable cars from movies, the car was modified and it got a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six with a five-speed manual gearbox, heavy-duty suspension, full roll cage, competition seats, and overall environ that still creates nostalgia to the fans.

Gran Torino – Gran Torino

The car showed up in Gran Torino as Gran Torino. It was one of the 92,033 models that Ford produced in 1972. The built happened in Lorain, Ohio, and the sport version got special attention due to its tweaks looks-wise. The car was adorned with “Magnum 500” wheels, laser stripes on the sides and some badging to give it that special look.

Though in the movie nobody actually drives it especially the Eastwood’s character, the last scene is memorable enough to take this car into consideration. The car got its power from the 302 Windsor 2 barrel V8, with 351W, 351 Cleveland, 400, and 429 cubic-inch available upgrades. But since the fuel economy was not so good, the car didn’t go very further for sales.

Back to the Future – DMC-12

Worth to have a look at, this fantastic automobile got its popularity from the movie “Back to the Future.” The idea of John Z. DeLorean, engineered and styled by Lotus, this car was loaded with exteriors that always drawn attention. It was a result of the manufacturing facility that came to Belfast, Ireland.

Created in 1981, the DMC-12 carried a Volvo V6 that was capable of producing 130 horsepower only. Thus it didn’t do much good on the sales level other than just flaunting the exterior. Anyway, the car was flaunting enough for a movie that was based on time travel. It is said that since the car didn’t make so much, it put DeLorean in hardship that eventually led him to behind the bars.

Death Proof – Nova

They let us see 1970 Chevy Nova muscle car in the movie by Quentin Tarantino. On the terms of specification, it was a 350 V8 that got 650 Edelbrock carburetor and came with a modified gearbox and rear end. B&M shifter and a full roll cage were parts of the modification too, and some special tags were used too for the car to launch it in the film.

There were seven muscle cars out of which only two remained. One was gifted to Buddy J. Hooker who was the professional driver, and another one after modifying was sold to the public. The car’s look in the movie was intentionally aged and rusted to give it that rough look. Check out the Car Reviews and see how Toyota Prius, the new launch of 2020 has been doing.

Batman Begins – The Tumbler

The creation looks like a blend of a Lamborghini and a tank. It looks super strong, flexible, and extraordinary for a car. It was a design of Wayne Enterprises’ Applied Sciences Division for the film Batman Begins. The Tumbler loads with its weaponry and the ability to hop without getting any damage. To achieve the overall look and feel, a total of six vehicles were built. Together they functioned for exterior shots, hydraulic jump sequences, and for the rocket-blast duty.

This vehicle gave a mind-blowing horsepower of 500-horsepower with LS V8. To reach a speed of over 100 MPH, it just needed five seconds or less. The steering allows sharp turns in urban settings, and the overall cost was $250,000 for one piece. They say that the stuntman keeps practicing for 6 months before taking Tumbler onto streets for shooting.
