Actually,it is a good comparison as these two cars are tempting to someone looking for a small car but still undecided as to whether a “full” car (VW) is needed or more of a local scoot-about (fit) is all that is needed. Would really like to see a full comparison including both local and highway driving. Dealing with noise/vibration, and even several hours behind the wheel.

This is a mismatch of comparison. On what grounds really do you compare a baby to an adult person. VW Golf should be compared possibly to BMW 1 series or Audi A3
