Hi my name is Stephanie Schaefer. I attend Southern Illinois University in Carbondale! I am a paralegal studies major and also am a independent student! For months now I have been working two jobs just to be able to pay rent. This summer I will need a car to be able to make it to my internship. I am looking to be a judge once I’m older to make a difference in younger adults lives and hopefully give them different alternatives then to just be locked away. If you choose me it will help further my education and get the experience I need underneath my belt.
Let me explain to you a little about myself. I grew up with a single mom who left when I was about 12. I ran from home to home finding places to live just so I could finish high school. Once I left high school I went down to Carbondale for college in hopes to do everything on my own. I have achieved everything on my own including my apartment. The only problem is the car. I appreciate the opportunity and your time for reviewing what I have to say. It’s awesome what you guys are doing. Cars are expensive and not everyone can afford them. I hope to able to do this for someone one day!
