As we all know if someone smokes in your car, this action will result in many terrible consequences. Smoke particles tend to stick into every surface inside the car including the windshield, causing horrible smells and reducing the driver’s visibility.

2. Dust and dirt

The number of people smoking decreases day by day, thus the cause mentioned above is probably not something that most drivers must worry about. Another reason that causes streaks on the windshield is dust and dirt. They go everywhere inside the car, lay on every surface, and unfortunately, the windshield is one of the most visible places it goes. If the action of cleaning inside of windshield is not applied, the visibility of the driver will decrease gradually.

3. Greasy outgassing

Perhaps the main cause of making a film developing on your car windshield is greasy outgassing. But what is outgassing? As many people may know, vinyl and plastic in cars are made of synthetic olds or crude. Although you should never feel greasy when touching your dash, the vinyl or plastic often breaks down, leeching oil over time. This process will speed up at high temperatures.

The problem is that you can not see the oil products of this process with your naked eyes. The oil released from a gaseous state tends to stick to the windshield of your car, obscuring the driver’s visibility. And because it’s a type of oil, cleaning it will be hard if you only use water.

4. Other factors

Making art on the surface of the windshield by your fingers is fun but if you do the art with your dirty fingers, it will be not fun anymore. The dirt from your fingers will stick to the glass which obscures your visibility.

How to super clean the inside of your windshield

Step 1: Wipe

Your first job of “How to clean inside of windshield” process is to give the dry glass a good wipe with a clean microfiber towel. Start from the passenger side and gradually work your way toward the driver’s side. You may find it hard to reach the joint between the windshield and the dashboard. In that case, you can use the backhand method. Sit with your face towards the rear of the car, direct your palm towards the glass, and you will be able to reach that tight spot.

Do it in a circular motion at first and then use it vertically. It will help to dust off the glass nicely and easily.

Turn the microfiber cloth over to the clean side and wipe the top edge of the front windshield. By doing so, you will avoid dust in this area falling down and contaminating the windshield after it has been cleaned. Then change to a new piece of cloth.

It’s super easy to remove the grease or oil from a glass surface by using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser – a type of interior windshield cleaner. Just soak it in lukewarm water and wiring it out. However, don’t dry it off completely as it has to have some liquid in it.

Now, wipe the glass at circular motion. If any liquid drops on the dashboard, wipe it off quickly with a microfiber towel. The dash can become discolored if the liquid sits there for long. When you’re done, grab a towel quickly and wipe the glass in a circular motion. Keep doing it until the entire surface is dry.

Step 4: Using the magic eraser windshield to clean

Using a magic eraser can be one of the great solutions to remove any stubborn dirt on the car windshield or the car’s glass. So we recommend drivers should use the magic eraser instead of using alcohol. In addition, this product is quite simple to use. All you need is clothes, water, and a magic eraser. First, you will put the magic eraser into the glass cleaner or water but note that you shouldn’t soak it too much. Important Notes When Cleaning Inside Of The Windshield

Specialized cleaning products should be used for the windshield and regular glass wash. Not only that, but the cloth to wipe the glass also needs to be chosen suitably. Using arbitrary towels can leave stains on the glass and cause scratches or streaks on the surface.

I couldn’t believe all the spelling errors! If you’re that sloppy with writing, why should I trust what you write?

You are a very negative person and maybe a little racist. Spelling was not perfect, are you. I found the information very helpful because I could not figure out why after cleaning the windows they were still greasy. Yeah now I know, so thank-you this was most helpful.

I have heard that vinegar and water (mixed together) help for cleaning the windscreen. Also a clean microfiber cloth should be used. What do you think? Is it true?
