Terms & Conditions of the Summer Sweepstakes 2024, organized by Car From Japan in celebration of our 10th anniversary.

By entering the sweepstakes, participants agree to comply with all terms outlined here in. It is important to review these Terms & Conditions carefully before participating in the event to ensure understanding and adherence to all rules.

Eligibility
The Summer Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Campaign Period
The Sweepstakes begins on April 25, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (“JST”) and ends on May 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. JST.
How to Enter
Participants can enter the Sweepstakes by making a new car purchase on the Car From Japan website during the campaign period.
Alternatively, participants may enter without making a purchase by sending a handwritten entry with their answer for the event question to the designated address in Japan.
Prizes
Ten (10) Ultimate Repair Tool Kits will be awarded to randomly selected winners.
Prize distribution is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these terms.
– GRAND PRIZES: One (1) grand prizes will be awarded.
– FIRST PRIZES: Nine (9) first prizes will be awarded.
Limitations
Participants are limited to one (1) entry per unique email. Only one (1) prize will be awarded per person/household.
Drawing and Notification
Winners will be selected via random drawing held between May 21th and May 25th, 2024. Winners will be notified via email or phone within 5 business days after the drawing.
General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and decisions of Car From Japan, which shall be final and binding.
Car From Japan reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules or tampering with the entry process. In the event a dispute arises, all decisions are subject to the CFJ.
Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income (if any).

The Summer 2024 Sweepstakes is open to residents of the USA, offering a fair chance for everyone to enter, regardless of whether they’ve made a purchase on our site before. 4.How does the event work for customers making new purchases?
Customers who buy a car on our website during the event (April 25 – May 15) will have the opportunity to participate in the lucky draw event. We will use your personal email for the draw
5.Can customers participate without making a purchase?
Yes, customers can participate without making a purchase by sending a handwritten entry with their name, address, phone number, and the answer for the special question on the landing page and email to a designated address in Japan with proper postage to: 2024 CarFromJapan Sweepstakes, Iwamotocho 3-10-7-7F Tojiki Building, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan 101-0032.
A postcard or a card that is no smaller than 3 ½ x 5 inches and no larger than 4 ¼ x 6 inches.
All write-in entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2024 and received by May 20, 2024.
There is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per envelope/postcard. Each envelope/postcard is considered one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Multiple entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Write-in entries must contain all entry fields outlined above; otherwise, they are void and will not be eligible to win.
6.What do customers need to do with the landing page?
All participants:
– If you made a purchase, you need to answer the event’s question and submit the email on the event landing page to participate in the prize draw.
– If you entered without purchase, you have to write down the answer the event’s question on the event landing page, your information and send it to us.
7.What are the prizes for the sweepstakes?
The prizes include 10 Ultimate Repair Tool Kits, perfect for all tire repair needs.
– GRAND PRIZES: One (1) grand prizes will be awarded, amount of $245 (each a “Grand Prize”).
– FIRST PRIZES: Nine (9) first prizes will be awarded, amount of $28 (each a “first Prize”).
8.Is there a limit to the number of times a customer can enter?
Yes, there’s a limit of one (1) entry per person/household. Customers can only enter once with a unique lucky code, even if they purchase multiple vehicles during the event period.
9.How will winners be selected?
Winners will be randomly drawn between May 21th and May 25th, 2024.
10.How will winners be notified?
Winners will be notified via email or phone within 5 business days after the drawing. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
