I hereby submit my motivation for participating in the car monthly draw of CARS FROM JAPAN and why I should be picked as the company has advertised.
Am a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Philosophical Studies of Makerere University Kampala-BA (SPS) MUK. Currently I work with an NGO Sustainable Environmental Awake (SEA) in Kasese district (Western Uganda) at the position of a Director.
We are implementing the several projects among them as: peace building and inclusion for all in the Rwenzori Region funded European Union; increasing the provision of clean energy in Uganda through sustainable catchment management activities on Mubuku river sub-catchment funded by World Wide Fund Uganda Country Office (WWF UCO). We are also implementing the Knowledge, Advocacy and Lobbying (KAL) project in partnership with Joint Energy and Environment Projects (JEEP), among other projects.
All these projects have not supported the organisation with means of transport or any form of vehicles to the organisation. I have been hindered in movement to do project supervision and this compromises the reports of monitoring and evaluation as well the projects impacts.

Rwenzori in Western Uganda is characterized by inter-ethnic conflicts involving Batooro, Bamba, Babwisi, Bakonzo, Batuku, Basongora and Banyabindi ethnic communities among others. The ethnic conflicts revolve around territorial control, access to natural resources and the right to culture. Besides, there are domestic conflicts at the family level and increasing levels of unemployment for young people who are increasingly enrolled in acts of violence and crime. This calls on part of the organisation to secure safe means of transport for the organisation leaders of which has been a challenge to the organisation since 2013. So this draw is giving the organisation a green light and chance to acquire a safe and secure and effective means of transport to office, field and ease community mobilization due fast and improved community outreaches. This will improve organisation community service delivery as the organisation can easily transport the staff to field ad office easily and fast.
My Motivation to participate in the car draw includes the following among others;
1) Given the tasks of the director, almost carrying the image of the organization, this comes to fill the gap of having a fast and decent means of private transport to and from work. Public transport has a lot of inefficiencies and hence not effective means of transport for a director often times. With this car won, I will now be in position to deliver to my mandate with ease and fast compared to previous.
2) As an employee of a CSO, my position requires meeting with other high profile leaders of organizations. The car when won will enhance my movement and knowledge sharing and skills that will help me focus on issues related to development of the organisation and tools and processes aimed at furthering social cohesion within the organisation and strengthen partnership with other CSOs.
3) As an organization director, I will get an opportunity to engage with community members more easily without excuses of failed means of transport and get practical experiences, interaction with local organizations working in related fields as for Sustainable Environmental Awake (SEA) and guided visits to historical significant and institutions dealing with same thematic areas as ours.
4) Finally fellow directors, like CSOs and the whole community will gain confidence in the cars from the company and will be able to create market for these vehicles as they buy the vehicles themselves or recommend them to other people both here in Uganda and to friends elsewhere in the world. This will increase sales hence more profit margin to the company leading to its growth of finances and production base.

Hoping my reasons for motivation to be picked as a car winner in the monthly draw will meet your organisation/company considerations.

Sincerely yours,
