Good morning Ami, Hope all is well with you today. I finally have it licenced for the road. The licencing office gave me a bit of a hard time as they said the English version of the ownership must be stamped by an authorized Canadian company. I said to the lady if Customs Canada had no issue bringing it into the Canada then why would it be an issue to get the plates for it. She called down to Head office for Ontario licencing and it all worked out I did not need any other information, just the original ownership in Japanese and the converted one in English and the Canada Customs import paperwork that showed the partial taxes paid for Canada as the Provincial taxes need to be paid depending on the province you ship to. I just wanted to share that with you for future clients on paperwork required for licencing in Ontario. Oh and as far as the safety certificate is concerned any authorized mechanic shop can issue the safety for it as it is over 15 years old. That was my experience to have it licenced in Ontario and you must have valid insurance as well.
