Will all that is going on now in this world, and has been going on since mankind came to be, why can't we, as all of us, our fellow human beings, nations, religions, tribes and everyone else be at peace with each other, just once, so that mankind can have the grandest ever world celebration, in celebrating each other, for who we are, and what we are, as human beings. Life is shorter than short, and yet we, both as people and nations, are at each other's throats for the most trivial, if not outright childish reasons. Us, supposedly as the most intelligent of all the creatures on the face of this planet, should serve as the role model for all of the other creatures on this earth. With humanity steam rolling straight ahead with the current state of affairs, we should not have much hope of surviving too long into the future, whether short term or long term. We'd better get our act together and start being kind to one another, to our animal and plant kingdoms, and most importantly, to our beloved earth. In order for civilization to survive, society must act civilized. The time for trying is no more. Now is the time!
