Optional on this version is a luxury touring package which brings xenon headlamps, leather upholstery, a less-prominent rear lip spoiler, a sunroof, a navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Rockford Fosgate audio.
– The turbocharged, all-wheel-drive Ralliart has hood vents, summer performance tires, a dual-clutch automated manual transmission, an even sportier suspension tune and aluminum pedals. This version is also has some components from the GT Touring package as standard, including the Rockford Fosgate sound system and Xenon headlights.
– Finally is the Evolution. There are two models for you to choose: an automatic version (which is dubbed “MR) or a GSR 5-speed manual version (which is called GSR). Both versions are powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder with an inter-cooled turbocharged which develop the aforementioned 291 ponies. The Evolution has standard heated side view mirrors. Mitsubishi Lancer owns standard front seats – which are durable and reasonably supportive. The GT version and Ralliart version are designed with contoured sport seats that catch too much attention and curiosity of car fans.
The Lancer has crisp, attractive speedometer and deeply hooded tachometer and they bookend a great looking optional color LCD trip computer. However, material quality is a weak point of Mitsubishi Lancer. Though the Lancer’s dashboard is basically nice, the material used to build it up are uniformly basic and hard, and that also widens to the door panels.
According to evaluation of auto experts, the Lancer’s base 2.0L engine performs adequately, but the problem is its industrial noise (which is too loud), particularly with the drone-producing a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Therefore, moving up to at least the 2.4L engine if possible is what we recommend for you. The 2.4L engine is a pretty spirited and refined motor that makes the Mitsubishi Lancer much more enjoyable. And the dual clutch transmission is a good example of its breed, delivering shifts that are both smooth and quick.
2015 Mitsubishi Lancer is taller than a compact car, and you find the extra height in fast corners. However, compared to the norm, Lancer is still a sportier car, particularly with the all-wheel-drive Ralliart’s racy setup and the GT’s sport-tuned suspension. – The Lancer ES is designed with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 145 lb-ft of torque and 148 hp. While a five-speed manual transmission is standard, the optional option is a continuously variable automatic. Fuel economy of the ES is 25 mpg city/34 mpg hwy with the manual and 26 mpg city/34 mpg hwy with the CVT.
– The front-wheel-drive GT and the all-wheel-drive SE are powered by a 2.4L 4-cylinder rated at 167 lb-ft and 168 hp. Either the CVT or the 5-speed manual can be specified. Fuel economy for the GT is 22 mpg city/31 mpg hwy with the manual and 23 mpg city/30 mpg hwy with the CVT. The SE check in at 22 mpg city/29 mpg hwy.
– The Ralliart features a turbocharged 2.0L inline 4-cylinder that produces 253 lb-ft and 237 hp. This version is only available with a 6-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. Fuel economy is 18 mpg city/25 mpg hwy.
– The Evolution is available with GSR (5-speed manual transmission) and MR (six-speed twin-clutch automated manual with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and 3 shift programs). Fuel economy is 17/23 mpg with manual transmission and 17/22 mpg with automatic transmission.
