Hana Yurimoto,
Car from Japan, and why cars from Japan.

Japanese Business Culture - Japan is the third-largest economy in the world, an island of nations within East Asia. Japan is the world’s tenth largest country by population, with 127.3 million people. A major economic power that continues to experience growth resulting from industrial and technological breakthroughs. In the last decade, Japan has experienced growth through globalization that affected it citizens by employment and wages. As a vital key to conducting business in Japan it is essential for a corporation to understand etiquette and protocols as well as the religious beliefs that may or may not impact business....
Introduction

The number of private cars in Japan grew from approximately 2.3 million in 1966 to 58.1 million (including 17.3 million mini-cars) in 2009. This huge increase has led to a car society in which cars have a dramatic impact on socioeconomic systems such as housing, industrial activity, and health services. The annual volume of carbon-dioxide (CO2) emissions from the transportation sector is 236 million tons and accounts for about 20% of total releases in Japan (1.2 billion tons in 2008). About half of the CO2 emissions from the transportation sector comes from private cars, amounting to some 10% of the country’s total volume.

A LITTLE HISTORY OF JAPAN AUTOMOTIVE WORLD.
Japan has had considerable interest in electric vehicles (EVs) for some time now. Besides an improvement in battery performance, EV developments in Japan include the provision of grants and subsidies for purchasing EVs and an increase in the number of battery chargers. However, these activities are based on the conventional idea that EVs should simply replace current gasoline-powered vehicles. This approach will be inadequate given the existence of more penetrating social problems such as an ageing society and excessive energy consumption. “Game changing” is therefore essential when thinking about developing a sustainable automobile society in Japan.
Clean Compact City

In this scenario, EVs would not need to achieve high mileage and speed performance. Rather, they would be designed for “low speed” and would not harm people in a collision. Advanced controls would make auto-piloting and auto-parking readily and widely available. This future scenario, as with the first scenario, would be free from the negative social costs of traffic accidents and environmental impacts associated with vehicle exhaust and noise pollution.

Senior citizens could utilize a car and walk around safely in a “silent” town due to the EVs’ functional performance. Furthermore, an auto-parking system would make “park & ride” more convenient, reducing the time necessary to search for a parking space as well as simplifying the difficult procedure of parking a car. If this society is realized, it will solve issues of transportation for aged people. Moreover, even if the number of senior citizens using cars increases, overall environmental impact would be lower, as shown in Table 1. However, clear vision and governmental leadership would be essential to construct new “compact cities.” In this society, cars would be mere tools to enable people to travel short distances, used in much the same way as bicycles and scooters.
Iv been a fun of your car models, Initially i had a car which was bought by my husband from Japan but later we divorced so he had to go with his car, in the meantime i saved enough funds and bought a second hand one last year for the sake of my little kids whom i travel with from point A to B.

But due to unavoidable mechanical problems i had to sell it at a loss.. As a lady i feel i need a new car but am not able to raise funds now to buy.
It will be the best gift i can offer my kids as a single mum who struggles to make ends meet.

Also am an interior design and most time i struggle on deliveries of curtains, cushions, etc to my clients. Especially when i go for fabrics from point A to B its normally cumbersome but i still struggle to make sure my deliveries are on time and prompt.

Car from Japan is the way to go for very lady since their cars are very economical and genuine spare parts easy to find here in our lovely country Kenya.

Toyota Passo is my taste easy to function, beautiful body very economical and easy for me as a lady to handle.
The Toyota Case Study

Toyota is a multinational corporation headquartered in Japan and the world's largest automaker by sales, net worth, revenue, and profits. Toyota employs approximately 320,808 people worldwide and it has been an industry leader since the being consistently more productive than its competitors. Therefore the company is worldwide recognized for the quality of its products and production systems.

WHY I LIKE TOYOTA - A LITTLE ESSAY ON TOYOTA
Toyota first caught the world's attention in the 1980s, when consumers started noticing that Toyota cars lasted longer and required fewer repairs than American ones. This is the result of a long lasting Toyota's management philosophy which leads to the introduction of "Lean Manufacturing" and "Just In Time Production".

The so called Toyota Way has 4 main components:

Long- term thinking as a basis for management decisions

A process for problem-solving

Adding value to the organization by developing its people

Recognising that continuously solving root problems drives organizational learning

Toyota is aligned around satisfying the customer. It believes that a satisfied customer comes back and gives more business through referrals; therefore the long term goal of the firm is to generate value for the customer, the society and the economy.

One of the keys to success of Toyota is that it lives by the philosophy of self reliance and a "let's do it ourselves" attitude.

Toyota's management pursue the idea that is important not to speculate on the basis of what has been heard or told by others, but, in order to have a better grasp of the situation, the employees should try to see things for themselves.

"Solve problems and improve processes by going to the root or source".

Toyota's philosophy of promoting and acquiring mid-to-to-level executives within the company steams from the company's belief that that are eliminating unevenness at the executive level.

Changing the culture every time a new leader comes in brings some confusion in the ranks and does not develop any real depth or loyalty from the employees. Toyota believes, in fact, that the leaders within the organization must live and understand the Toyota culture everyday.

Toyota is trying to become a learning organization through relentless reflection and continuous improvement, the so called kaizen. This means establish a process for continuous improvement and use it to find the root cause of inefficiencies and apply effective counter measures; create a process that requires the least inventory, making easy to spot wasted time and resources; protect industrial knowledge by developing stable employees, slow promotion and a very careful succession system.

The "Toyota Way" and, therefore, the success of Toyota in the last decades is a clear example of how the culture of a country can positively influence the economics aspects of a company.

Thank you would appreciate your gift.
God bless you
