Car from Japan are of good quality. Japanese used car has a good market in Fiji. A lot of second hand cars are Japanese used cars. Also, since Fiji is now focussing on energy efficiency and environment protection, the new models of Japanese used car has the features suitable for Fiji's climate.

Now, why should you pick me as a winner? Well, I love cars, especially those which are fuel efficient, low maintenance and reliable. I think the latest model of Japanese used cars have all the features. Winning a car fitting these requirements and driving the car will also support the promotion of Japanese used cars.

Having said this, I must admit that I haven't driven Japanese used car. I have driven cars like Mazda 323, manual shift, and Mazda 3, automatic shift, and Honda Aria, automatic shift. These cars were purchased as second hand from the sellers who bought them brand new from the agents. I have no major complains about these brands and must say that I really liked driving Mazda 3, though. Except that the parts of these cars are little expensive, the brand is very good. Because of expensive parts, many people prefer Toyota brand. In any case, all these brands come to Fiji as Japanese used cars and it would be nice to drive one someday. Also, a lot of cars, brands like Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet, and others are not uncommon on Fiji road and a lot of them are Japanese used cars. There are also lot of car dealers selling Japanese used cars which highlights the huge market for Japanese used cars.

I think as long as quality, reliable, economical and affordable Japanese used cars are sold in the Fiji market, there will be demand for the used cars from Japan. I hope I win a similar type of car (affordable, economical, quality) car, which also have reasonable resale value.
