CAR FROM JAPAN:I Byenume Fredrick born in 1969, i have seen Toyota cars made from Japan since then. The cars are driven by almost every body in Uganda for personal use and business. These cars from Japan have evolved from the hard systems to now powered hydrolic systems that is easy to manovour in terms of steering and the gear systems. some time back, the vehicles used to be only manually driven but at the moment automatic vehicles are now readily available making it easy for the limb disabled group to have chance to drive.One can now order for the automatic vehicles for their mobility of the disabled thanks to the Japans innovations.
Given the fact that Japans cars are the best, the spare parts are easily available/ accessible and cheap. Other than other vehicles in Uganda, Japans vehicles are easy to manage in terms of running costs like fuel,and servicing which requires the appropriate oil,fuel filters and diesel filters. These are easily accessible and affordable in the market. Uganda has poor roads net work that is to say that others are not all weather roads, for that matter therefore, some roads need good vehicles to pass through to reach the require destination so as to execute the duties in that hard to reach area, like immunization, sanitation campaigns and may be at times the control of epidemics like cholera. We have also Bilhazia/Schistosmiasis and is prevalent at the lack shores, in order to reach that site at lake Albert, the japans car which is 4 wheel driven is better. In the same process at times. Where we get stake, the Japans car just utilize the witch, you just tire it on a tree and command the gears to pull away the vehicle and exactly that is than and you continues with business without sleeping in the bush and or may be hire services to be pulled out of the muddy or sandy soils.The japans cars have been realized to be the best even for the politicians during the political campaigns as they act as plat forms for them to be visualized through the vehicle roof by the voters. On top of the same roof, audio equipment's are fixed and used to pass on information to the targeted audience. Japans cars these days can act as communication means as they have WIFI and other means of communication that can deter the driver from accidents during the driving and telephone communication process. Accidents can also be minimized by the Japans cars by the air bag protecting the occupants on addition to the safety belts.
Nevertheless i being a health worker in the rural communities of Uganda and lacking transport to reach the targeted communities for prevention and control of diseases, this offer shall not only improve my personal well being, but it will benefit the communities where i work. it will help me reach the poor for equitable health services delivery.
