Hi Lan,

My names Jeneya Perez I’m from Auckland, New Zealand and I’m 25 years of age. On the 4th May 2018 I purchased a Suzuki Swift for a car dealer, I noticed as I was driving something felt wrong, I got it inspected to find the below which were all the problems.

Auto transmition - Slipping
Brakes - Jumping
Chasis damages below.

I returned this to the car dealer on Friday 11th May, to reject the vehicle and unwind the whole deal, he explained that it’s my fault for damage which couldn’t be as I worked from home and was scared to even drive it with its condition. The car dealer made me pay $750 (the last of my pay, leaving me with $3.00) and said I pay the damage in order to cancel off this deal. What I find hard is all I wanted was a good reliable imported car, but I’m not going to use that and go against Japan imported cars I believe he wasn’t a good trader I hope to get confirmation and proof that that is the case (if I win.)

After all of this hassle with the car dealer I
Pay $750 - damage I didn’t do
Pay $150 - show the proof of all what’s wrong
No car - As I sold this within the 7 days to a family in need of transport.

I feel completely ripped off and scared to purchase another vehicle. I hope someone understand the difficulties I now struggle with someone that transported that swift from Japan. I however won’t let him break trust on the imports it’s more him and his service.

All the above is true I’m happy to provide documents with dates of all of this.
