Thank You for the opportunity to potentially win a Japanese used car by participating in the Car From Japan competition. Currently, I do not own my own car, and as a result, I find that it is extremely difficult to further advance in my career and provide a better life for my family.

I do not enter competitions like this very often, but one of the things that really excited me about this specific competition is the international aspect it offers. Unfortunately, my international experience in my life has been very limited. The furthest I have personally traveled outside of my own country is to our neighbor to the North, Canada. I visited Montreal, Canada with a few of my friends from college (Purdue University - in Indiana) during our spring vacation. We had a great time and it was personally enjoyable for me because I could finally say that I had traveled outside of my own country. While that was a milestone long overdue, I hope it was simply the very beginning of my travels abroad. I have a strong desire to see the Eiffel Tower in France first hand; the pyramids in Egypt, Big Ben in England, the Great Wall of China, the Wailing Wall in Israel, the Swiss Alps, experience a safari in Africa, taste the exquisite cuisine in Japan, and so many other experiences I have long dreamed about but never experienced for myself.

I realize that winning a used car from Japan is not the same as traveling there and experiencing the amazing country first hand. But it is an opportunity to expand my horizons and experience interacting with the Japanese culture remotely. And that is a start. You never know where an experience like that could lead and what may eventually come from it. All I know is that I greatly appreciate the chance to enter and potentially win a car from Japan. Who knows, maybe I will win. But even if I don't, I will still feel like a winner because I had the chance - and that's pretty cool too! So thank you one last time and please never stop offering people a chance to change their lives!
