Very easy process and the website was easy to navigate. I inquired on several trucks before I decided on one. Once I received my truck it was very clean and the pictures were pretty accurate to what I received. I would recommend this site for importing a truck

Hi Ami, it was just battery. I was only checking because I was worried my transport company would be annoyed it say I lied when I told them it was running. As it turned out, it was quite the opposite, it seems the shipping company made no effort whatsoever to start it and just towed it off the boat. The transport company got it running straight away with a power pack. When they got it to Donegal, they actually drove it from their yard to my house, about 10km. They said it drives like brand new, so we are very happy. I will check all those vitals again though before going on the road. My registration inspection is next Friday, so I hopefully should be on the road in a couple of weeks. The batteries were completely flat, but they're quite new, February this year so I've left them in to see if they can be charged.

Everything went very smoothly and the truck is so much fun! The truck itself, even stock, is a head turner here in Texas - people always ask me about it and take pictures of it!

As a first time Kei truck buyer, I would rate the overall experience as very smooth and pleasant. Compared to other dealer websites both in Japan or in the US, I think Car From Japan excels in their huge stock, decent pricing and the responsiveness of their customer service. The truck itself is just cute, refreshingly small, runs great and a pleasure even just to look at.
