BMW 228i Sport and Audi TT Quattro Sport

If you are looking to buy a cool small beast, then you would be considering getting an Audi TT Quattro Sport or a BMW 228i Sport. Here is an unbiased comparison between BMW 228i Sport and Audi TT Quattro Sport. Both cars are actually very nice vehicles and comes with a lot of options. While the BMW costs from $64,000, you could also get options such as advanced parking, comfort package, personal infotainment and visibility package which would increase the price. Audi TT on the other hand, costs from $77,950 with options such as driver assist laden assistant package and LED headlights amongst others.

Both vehicles have poor space at the back sits which would admit an adult with difficulty. It is however possible to fit child seats on the back of both cars. It would be however uncomfortable trying to place kids into the seats yourself and would hence be more comfortable if your child is old enough to crawl in and out of the seat himself.

The BMW comes with a 180 kW 2.0 litre turbo 4 engine which gives it an extra power of about 11 kilowatts. The Audi’s turbo 4 however has a capacity of about 169 kW.

In terms of performance, the BMW moves nicer and better than the Audi TT. The Audi TT gives a feeling of been pinned hard to the road when compared to the free feeling given by the BMW 228i. The advantage for the TT however comes to play when driving in adverse road conditions.

The TT has better driver response and sits flatter than the BMW 228i. The Audi TT car’s design comes with an A3-based range. The BMW 228i however, has a different execution. It has the normal BMW conventional format, which includes the rear drive, engine placement and body shape.

The difference between the cabin design in the Audi TT and the BMW 228i is also noticeable. The user interface of the BMW 228i is neat, while the user interface of the Audi TT is slicker looking and has a special look in finishing and materials than the BMW 228i.

In terms of ratings, both cars have similar ratings.

In terms of performance and economy, the BMW 228i Sport has a rating of 8.5 while the Audi TT Quattro sport has a rating of 8.5 too.

In terms of Cabin comfort and space, the BMW 228i Sport has a rating of 8 while the Audi TT Quattro sport has a rating of 7.5.

In terms of connectivity and technology, the BMW 228i Sport has a rating of 8.5 while the Audi TT Quattro sport has a rating of 9.
