Hey guys! Let me first say that I'm extremely excited about this contest! I have loved Japanese cars since I first got into the car hobby in 1996. First I fell in love with s13 Silvia's, then I learned about the Skyline and thought those were amazing. Finally after learning about the old Hako skylines and vintage JDM cars I was absolutely hooked. I now have a 1978 Cressida, and a 1972 Datsun 510. neither of them run unfortunately as I don't have the money or time with 2 kids to fix them right now, but I refuse to ever sell them as they are impossible to find.

I had hoped to import an s13 in 2014 when they first became legal, but unfortunately I just haven't had the funds to do so.

My goal in life is to get an s15 Silvia, though I know I'll have to wait until 2024 to pick one of those up. I hope to fly out to Japan, spend a month or so touring the speed shops I love (JUN, Yashio Factory, Uras, Kei Office), meeting my drifting hero's that I've bee watching since the late 1990's on Video Option and Drift Tenguko videos, and then pick my s15 out at the auctions.

That being said, I would absolutely LOVE either an s13, or a GTS-T Skyline (I LOVE RWD and drifting. The GTR is great, but I'd rather have a GTS-T with an RB26 swap).

I am currently unemployed and trying to figure out some way to make money in the import auto world. I figure if I don't currently have a job, I might as well try to do something I love. If I could make money selling import parts or parting out vehicles, that would be a dream come true!

The possibility to win one of my dream cars is absolutely amazing. If CAR FROM JAPAN could help with that, I don't even know what I'd do. Owning a Japanese used car would fulfill a lifelong dream to this point! I'm not one to beg and I know this is a contest that will have a random drawing so doing so would not help me at all. Still, I really appreciate the opportunity. I'm glad that the 25 year limit is up for some of my absolutely favorite cars. I'm glad that there are a number of great companies importing cars, and I'm glad to have this chance.
