I was interested in buyng this Toyota but then I heard on the TV that there have been people who have used this system of direct imports who send their money but do not get a car. Also that some verhicles cannot meet the regulations in New Zealand and therefore cannot be registered for use on the road. It seems safer to use a dealer who has established business links to Japan.
