The Car From Japan website was easy to search for my ideal vehicle and to understand the import process. Ordering, payment and notification of shipment went smooth. The recommended ISF services helped me through the customs and importing process. The local Department of Motor Vehicle helped me to register the vehicle. Because the vehicle is +25 years old the alternator had failed and the battery that arrived with the vehicle was not chargeable. Therefore required repair and replacement before I could operate the vehicle. So far I am still satisfied with my purchase and would do it again.

Everything went well with my purchase from Car From Japan. The communication was clear and friendly, and the car arrived just as described.

I love this Sambar. Car From Japan handled sale,shipping,payment,and documents very well. Im new to self importing and there is a lot of paperwork but Ami,the CFJ agent,was responsive and helpful throughout the process. I thought the battery would be dead and there might be mechanical issues to deal with but CFJ had unplugged the battery,with clear labels for the shipper to reconnect,and a good japanese mechanic had already looked the car over and prepared it for sale. I was able to drive it home. I dont know if other importing companies are this good or not so I havent hesitated to recommend CFJ to friends,and all the people who ask how I got such a practical van in the US. Thanks Again!

Awesome experience in terms of costs, timing and communication with all people involved. Will do business again. The car is what i expected, came clean, just as the pictures i saw, without any shipping issues.
