This was my first time importing a vehicle from Japan and Car From Japan did a really good job communicating with me throughout the process. Their website is well organized and they were prompt with paperwork and updates throughout. I experienced some frustration understanding the difference between CarfromJapan Sellers, and CarfromJapan support staff, and received some conflicting information about the import process on the US side. Still, CarfromJapan support was able to straighten things out and the truck arrived on schedule and in good working condition. I would buy again from them, but would advise new buyers to hire a customs broker as soon as they purchase the vehicle and get educated on the import process in your country/port.

We are enjoying our, recently imported through Car from Japan, Mitsubishi Pajero mini. It came as advertised and in good condition. The shipping, delivery and registration into Canada was trouble free. This has enabled us to purchase a car suitable to our lifestyle that is otherwise not available in this market. The Canadian Mitsubishi dealers will not sell or service the car but we have found, close to our home, three suppliers of parts and numerous service mechanics familiar with these cars. We are happy customers.

Best little work truck imaginable!!! Our entire family loves this little work horse! First of all, we get people giving us thumbs up or wanting to know about “Chi Sai” everywhere we go. Several people have said, “You just made my day!”, just by us pulling up. It’s wonderful to spread joy!! Our little kids love being able to sit in the front seat and the anti millennial theft device is top notch! It holds 16 foot pieces of lumber, though you will feel like you are jousting! It holds a cubic yard of soil perfectly and is at a fabulous height for unloading!!! We have hauled furniture, a small piano, flowers, trees, feed and more! It’s also a Costco/Sam’s Club dream car. Easy to load and easy to unload! We are actually considering getting another one!

I bought my truck through Car From Japan, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. The staff were super helpful and quick to reply to all my questions. The truck arrived exactly as described, in excellent condition, and the documents made registration really easy. What I liked most was the follow-up after delivery, they actually cared if I was happy with the purchase. I’m really satisfied and would definitely buy from CFJ again!

I bought a 1998 Subaru Sambar Truck through them in January 2025. They made the process very easy and if I had any questions, there were both email and website capabilities in place to answer them. The transaction went very smooth. I will definitely consider them for my next purchase from Japan. You do need to research whatever vehicle you are interested in and be knowledgeable about engine types and variations in models to be sure you get what you want, but if you do need information, don't hesitate to ask. I did and have been very happy with the end result.
